Hello. My name is Cecilia and for the past five years I have been providing specialist sexual assault counselling to children who have experienced sexual abuse, as well as teaching sexual abuse prevention education to children and their parents/carers. But in my work, I’m not encountering enough parents and therefore not doing as much as I possibly can to help prevent child sexual abuse. So, my goal is to draw on my wealth of knowledge and practice wisdom to provide you as a parent or other caregiver with valuable information, resources and practical strategies that you can implement straight away to help empower and protect the kids in your life against sexual predators – in an age-appropriate and non-scary way! Teaching your kids about body safety can be fun and empowering. I look forward to showing you how to ensure your children are better protected against falling victim to child sexual abuse.
